Is it possible that the authorities, with the media’s help, would conceal this information from the American public?

If the investigation into the Oklahoma City bombing twenty years ago offers any precedent, the answer to that question is obviously yes too.

As the readers of WND know at least a few eyewitnesses to the San Bernardino shooting swear there were more than two shooters.

Sally Abdelmageed, an employee at Inland Medical Center where the shooting took place, told CBS News, “We saw three men dressed in all black, military attire, with vests on.  They were holding assault rifles. As soon as they opened up the doors to building three […] one of them […] started to shoot into the room.”

“You are certain you saw three men?” the reporter asked. “Yes,” Abdelmageed answered, “They look like they were athletic build and they appeared to be tall.”

A second witness, Juan Fernandez, told reporters he saw “three white men in military fatigues” who “took off” in a “black Impala or SUV.”

The witnesses might have been mistaken, but the major media have expressed no interest in even discussing a third and possibly fourth shooter.

They were disappointed enough to discover that the “white men” in question were Muslims—no Virginia, “Muslim” is not a race. They would be even more disappointed were there a larger Islamic conspiracy afoot.

The media yearn for the days of Timothy McVeigh when they could gleefully link white male terrorists to Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, and other “purveyors of hate and division” on the Right.

The White House and a complicit media made that imagery stick by doing what the White House and a complicit media may be doing today—denying a larger Islamic connection to the terror.

In the way of background, twenty minutes before the April 19, 1995, blast in downtown Oklahoma City, employees at a tire store spotted McVeigh and a short Mid Eastern-looking man, in the infamous Ryder truck, and even gave the pair directions to the Murrah building intersection.

Witness Daina Bradley cried out to the rescuers who were trying to extricate her after the blast—they had to amputate her leg to do so--“It was a Ryder truck. It pulled up, a foreign looking man got out, and then before long, everything went black.”

Five minutes before the blast, printing operator Jerry Nance noticed an unusual car in the downtown Oklahoma City parking lot near where he worked.

It was a dilapidated yellow Mercury Marquis. Behind the wheel was a dark-skinned, Middle Eastern-looking man in a ball cap.

When Nance walked back towards the car, after getting some stuff from his own car, the Mercury Marquis almost ran him over. The Middle Eastern man was now sitting in the passenger seat, and a tall white man was driving the car out of the parking lot, recklessly at that.

Two minutes later, the Murrah building blew. Nance informed the FBI of this incident before anyone knew McVeigh was apprehended in a yellow Mercury Marquis.

Three hours after the blast, the FBI issued an all-points bulletin for a brown Chevy pickup, with tinted windows, seen speeding away from the area, with two Middle Eastern–looking men inside.

A week later, the FBI quoted Nance and the tire store employees in its request before a federal judge to hold McVeigh over for trial. One of the tire store employees picked McVeigh out of a line-up of look-alikes even before he saw McVeigh on TV.

According to the Washington Post of April 28, 1995, a federal judge ordered McVeigh to be held after an FBI agent “described eyewitness accounts of a yellow Mercury with McVeigh and another man inside speeding away from a parking lot near the federal building.” (Italics added).

For the next six weeks, John Doe #2 was the most hunted man in the world until, without explanation, he just kind of went away, again without the media even commenting on his disappearance.

Curiously, the same week as the San Bernardino shooting the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s office revealed that a DNA test had been run on a “John Doe leg” found amidst the Murrah Building rubble in 1995.

“We aren’t withholding the name at all,” the Medical Examiner’s office told the Washington Times. “We do not have a name or identity coordinating for the unmatched leg.”

According to the Times, the FBI will follow up on the revelations from the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s office. The FBI, remember, reports to Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

So apparently do the media. Given that relationship, I would not expect the New York Times to report breakthroughs in either case—certainly not in an election year.
